How to get to the Centre:

By car:

If you are driving from Warsaw take the route to Katowice (road E67). Some 20 km after the road junction in Janki, on the left side of the road, there is a Shell’s gas station and right after it a viaduct over the road. 2.5 kilometres further, in Oddział (you will see the name of the town on a green sign) turn right into the only one in this town asphalt road (Chełmońskiego Street). You will reach the Centre after driving straight for 12.5 km. On the way you will cross one intersection in Kuklówka and the second one in Jaktorów, and immediately afterwards a railway crossing. 3 km from the railway crossing (the road changes from asphalt to gravel halfway) you will reach the Benchen Karma Kamtsang Centre, which is located to the left of the road.

The Centre can be also reached via the A2 motorway. Take the exit to Grodzisk Mazowiecki. After about 6 km on road no. 579, at the second traffic light in Grodzisk turn right, heading for Żyrardów. Drive for some 6.5 km on road no. 719 and turn right at the crossroads with traffic lights in Jaktorów (but watch out, the turn is before the green sign "Jaktorów"!). Right after the turn there is a railway crossing. From there follow the instructions in the description above.

Note for GPS users after typing „Grabnik” some devices will lead you to another quite distanced place, from where it will be difficult to get to the Centre, so it is better to enter “Jaktorów, Pomorska Street” in your device and then follow the instructions given above (the Centre is situated at the road which is a continuation of this street) or simply use GPS coordinates instead: N 52o6'47.22", E 20o32'31.18"

By plane or train:

From the Chopin Airport in Warsaw you can take the fast or regular train (SKM or Koleje Mazowieckie) to Warszawa Zachodnia station (you might also take the 175 bus to Warszawa Centralna and go to Warszawa Śródmieście station). Switch to a train going to Żyrardów or Skierniewice. Get off in Jaktorów (the first station after Grodzisk Mazowiecki, one of the largest towns on the route). When you get off on the platform go back towards the railway crossing, turn left, cross the tracks and go straight on the main asphalt road, which later becomes a gravel road. After 3 km (35 min walk) you will reach the Benchen Karma Kamtsang Centre, which is located to the left of the road.

If you call us in advance we can usually come and pick you up from the station. Rarely could it happen that there will be no car available, and then you could call a local taxi from Jaktorów (phone: +48 602 35 55 33).
